   Any „[…] sour“ cocktail deserves at least an A.
   It’s not overly complicated and the combination is used with a lot of different liquors (whiskey, midori, pisco, coca…) but works like a charm with every single one.

   Review the 100+ year old classic Aviation cocktail. Its only downfall is hardly any place other than a high end classic cocktail bar has crème de violette. It’s simplistic yet sophisticated, 4 ingredients yet tastes extremely unique, good gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette, fresh lemon juice. Some places mix it up and will add a little sprite or kinky but IMO that’s trashy.
