   Zach Lavine is one of the worst defenders in the league and for some reason his mediocre offense makes people forget this and he has people saying “it’s not his fault” yeah alright just the worst box plus minus min 500 games of any player in the league

   Lavine is absolutely worthy of being the best player… In the C tier. At some point your teams just gotta win more games Idgaf look at Dmitch in Utah look at Booker on the Suns they elevate

   As a massive Nets fan, I couldn’t agree more. Cam Thomas is one of the most annoying players I’ve ever had to suffer through watching as a fan because he’s clearly got insane scoring talent. But holy fuck can he not do literally anything else lol

    role players are getting so overrated… theres no reason for alex caruso and to be three full tiers ahead of cam thomas and the same tier as zach lavine. Alex is obviously a better defender and plays his role well on a championship team, but being like an 8th option on offense with 5 other all-defensive level players on the same team is so much less pressure and so much less difficult than being on a crap team and being a 1st option. Im not saying cam or zach can do what alex is doing, but i know for sure you replace caruso on the nets or kings, and theyre not doing any better than they are right now. When did successful role players get so inflated? We see even with derrick white this season that role players who get pushed into larger offensive roles struggle because theyre not used to it.

    Reeves works as a sixth man in the Ginobli style. He can get to the basket and score. He’s not a good defensive player. Putting him in the sixth man role protects him from injury and lets you give the team a quick jolt of energy when you need it. If he gets hot, just keep him in and let him score 40.

    Zach LaVine makes 50 million. If he made 22 million this would be a different conversation. He cannot defend rebound or facilitate and yet he makes 50 million. I don’t want that guy on my team
